Replace /Volumes/MavericksInstall with your own partition name: sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia -volume /Volumes/MavericksInstall -applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app -nointeraction By default the path is /Applications/Install OS X Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia.
